Last week we hosted an excellent in-store clinic with drummer extraordinaire Joel Rosenblatt (top New York studio drum ace). We had a great response from the crowd. It had a down to earth relaxed vibe, with “real world” education that attendees could actually apply to their own playing. Joel covered many techniques and playing tips to a packed crowd of drummers that lasted well over two hours!!Tons of ideas, tricks and funky beats were covered in-depth, then, without missing a beat (couldn’t resist that one!) Joel broke into displaying these chops in real time with backing tracks. All the while Joel interacted with the crowd and let them exactly know what was happening with the drums!
Question and answers ensued, and afterwards Joel was kind enough to stay and greet every customer that attended!
Would certainly have him back! A great night for all!
